PSU wattage

This is my setup:

i5 2500
ASUS P8H67 M Evo
WD Black Caviar 1TB
GSKILL Ripjaws 1333

Eventually I’ll buy a graphics card, don’t know which one right now.

The two options of PSU I can get are these:

Cooler Master Silent Pro 600W (Modular) U$S 172

Cooler Master Silent Pro 700W (Modular) U$S 198

I’ve already read reviews and these seem to be solid PSUs.

The question is: will 600 watts be enough, or do I NEED 700 watts?

EDIT: Obviously I won’t overclock

You will only need 700W for the best graphics cards out there, but I am guessing you will buy a budget card, so 600W should be more than enough.

600W would be enough even for a GTX580

With the new 2nd gen cpus and modern ram, power usage has decreased a lot so I would say, as the others have said, that unless you plan to run SLI or the top end GPU, 600 should be more than enough, you just have to decided if you want normal or modular.
