PSN Info Compromised.

Your productive post is appreciated.

So did anyone here actually use a credit card for PSN stuff? The most I’ll likely get is some spam when the hacker sells the contact info to scamming groups.

Sigh. All this conflict and finger-pointing going on over all this. These hacker folk don’t seem to care that the time and money of millions of innocent clients are at stake… OH WELL.

Microsoft is going to be capitalizing on Sony’s unfortunate situations.

Edit: actually read the comments apparently this article is dated. Still funny though.

Microsoft is unbanning a bum-load of users. That’s funny too I guess.

That is funny, I guess they are afraid of anon. I’d be too if I was Microsoft.

^ I was about to say, Anon have come out and said it wasn’t them. I’m in the process of changing all my passwords because I was lazy and kept one basic one :fffuuu::fffuuu::fffuuu::fffuuu:

Blaming Sony for the hack is like the police arresting the house owner after the house has been burgled, its like ā€œwat, blame the ROBBER not the victim/sā€.

but sony could have crypted the info, and not blindly trusting their system

agree… amazon and paypal do it… why cant sony…

also watching maxxy rage gives me the same feeling as when morgan freeman swears… he shouldn’t

Of course the hacking is the hackers fault, but i don’t think sony can just get a free pass here from maintaining such a bad security on their system

Oh yeah, Sony should have encrypted everything. I’d be interested to know why they didn’t to be honest.

As long as people realise its not just Sonys fault, people are acting like Sony sat there handing this information out. I’m quite impressed how as soon as they found out there was a breach they shut the system down and started investigating.

Yeah, I’m not happy I’ve had to change a lot of passwords but I don’t begrudge Sony at all.

Disregard was sony sending me fucking spam. I called em.

God damn pricks

Relevant.

Th plaintiff lose because Sony did inform users of a potential threat the day of the outage.

If anyone has lost money because of the outage it’s their own damn fault because Sony stated from day one that the network had been potentially at risk.

And anyone saying Microsoft is better is a blind dumb ass because credit card info has been stolen from Microsoft several times.

Actually there’s been an interesting little article being passed around that features a chatlog over two hackers from months ago, insinuating that they had breached the network months prior to the PSN lockdown.

they must’ve injected it with a self destruct time bomb batch file :retard:

it’s inception. the virus grows larger and larger in the networks mind…

/me adds Patrick to his BM hate list.

There is so much text, it even hurts my eyes.

Just got an email from them:

I love the bold part (bolded myself), ā€œto be on the safe side, your credit card details may have been stolenā€ um, thanks?
