HD-DVD has the potential to hold 1,5 TB. So this is totally untrue. Blu-ray only won in the market because they were the first ones to win the rights on movies. Same thing happened with the analogue tapes in the 80’s I think. HD-DVD had the real potential but Blu-ray beat them to the finish line by cheating.

This horse was beaten and raped and then negotiated with so as not to file charges in this thread.

It’s a fucking disc storage format, stop being so butthurt.
^this. AND NOW STOP POSTING FFS!
Xbox all the way. And Wi-Fi sucks. It’s slow.
My first quotation is a guy curious about my butt… that is concerning…
I was just saying that HD-DVD had a lot of potential.
If it had a lot of potential, why did it fail? Compared to Blu-Ray, it ain’t got shit. 30 gb max.
Newfags should not be allowed to have an opinion.
Stop fucking bumping this shit.
Well you bumped and now I bump
This thread should never been created. Both system are fine. If you like XBox 360 buy it if you like PS3 buy it. OMG we’ve many kids on these forums from what I’ve seen in this thread. I’m a PS3 owner and I don’t care which one is better.
PS3 is a Bluray player that can play some games.
Xbox is a dumbed down PC that can’t do anything other then play games.
Hi Xbox is shit nvmnd bye
That’s weird. I guess I am a newfag. Though I believe that people who never post more than 3 lines in a single post shouldn’t have an opinion. You only lash out at people and you seem to have a neck for bashing people on this forum. Why?
Back to topic.
Deadalus193 I think you have the right idea. The fact of the matter is that people prefer certain systems. I prefer PS3 even though I have an XBOX360. Most games nowadays are available on all platforms. But those few games that do come on the market as either an xbox exclusive or PS3 exclusives are the reason for all this bickering. Plus the social networking that goes on between the individual systems.
Since I’m still a lowly IT student and not an experienced programmer or anything my preference goes out to PS3 because it’s simply more economical. The system comes with everything that fits my needs. WiFi, keyboard possibilities and a gigantic hard-drive plus the blu-ray disc driver that supports movies and the brilliance of DTS support. Xbox does not have those things. I’m not saying that xbox is bad, I’m just saying that every customer has his or her own needs.
PC master race hugga dugga dugga
PS3 may have Blu-Ray but the Xbox 360 reads DVDs faster (Then both the PS3’s blu-ray and DVD read speed).
Uh, wrong. The PS3 does A LOT more than what the Xbox does.
Can you watch TV shows on the BBC iPlayer without a subscription? One up to Sony.
Can you watch high definitions movies using Blu-Ray technology? Two-nil.
The Xbox is a mere shadow compared to the PS3.
Did you read my post I said the xbox can’t do anything other than games based on that statement one could assume I meant the PS3 does more.
Oh, for God’s sake… I bet my brother’s been on my bleeding account again. He’s a little bastard, I tell you.
Good cover, that’s smooth.
