Sure it looks like a fresh turd, but if it has BC then Im sold. And yeah sersoft who cares about linux TBH.
I dunno, everyone who has used linux before and knows how to use it.
I already have a PS3.
Anyone thinking of buying one should wait a few months after release, just so that any problems(if any) can be noted and taken care of.
It still does Bluray right?
Edit: Wikipedia updated.
What problems?
If does have you take it back and either get a refund or get it fixed.
I actually meant minor or non-fixable problems. There probably won’t be any, but I normally wait just incase.
Do explain.
Just something stupid like, blu-ray player scratches disks occasionally.
For an Example the first batch of PS3’s apparently had a much higher chance of breaking, than the later ones.
what the fuck are you talking about, the 360 is hot. and awesome.
Red Ring of Death
Yeah, since using the Playstation systems for over 10 years, not one has ever crashed on my, nor have I witnessed it.
Also, scratching the disk?
I don’t think so, they would of made sure it didn’t so that during the design stages.
Isn’t it the 360 which scratches discs?
.
This is sony not microsoft. I hear they actually test their products.
It sounds like I’m trying to insult PS3 here, but trust me, this has went in the wrong direction.
I have seen different angles of the PS3 Slim looks nicer than I first thought.
I’m just talking about some stuff that may or may not happen during the first few weeks of release. It might be a rushed console due to the fact that it’s just a slightly smaller version of the PS3.
Yeah, the scratched disks happened on the 360…Bu that’s only because ignorant assholes actually inverted the 360 while the disk was spinning. Of course shits gonna happen if you do that.
Red Ring of Death is definitely more of Microsoft’s fault.
I’ve had the RRoD once, and those bastards at elgiganten(Store) took 5 months to fix it. But I’ve never experienced a scratched disc from the console.
You have to lift it up for a scratched disk I believe.
Ill try it.
Of course you do dust  It happens when people move it from lying down to standing up, when it’s running.
Translation: It happens when people are dumb as fuck
