Prototype

IGNs review is one of the worst reviews I’ve ever seen from them. I think they were paid just to keep the hype for InFamous. It was inaccurate (bad draw distances?.. umm I could see a glowing orb very far away. City didn’t feel alive? Did you guys even just take a minute to walk through it and see all the stuff going on? Bad graphics?.. Do you realize how much damn stuff is going on the screen at one time???)

Prototype is a very fun game to play. People surfing is fun (very much a guilty pleasure. :stuck_out_tongue: ).

prototype Is great! I agree with ibanez though. there are some parts that get just down right annoying. supersoldiers should never have happened IMO.

but it is great fun when you get to go back to the beginning with all your upgrades and just go on killing sprees.

Lol @ shitty graphics.

Shut the fuck up and play the game. For having a trillion objects on the screen at a time and being open-world, the graphics are damn far past acceptable. The game is great if you enjoy mindless violence. The storyline is cookie-cutter zombie outbreak massive corporation with the name “tek” or “tech” in it creates a virus and destroys humanity and one super-infected individual escapes and turns on the corporation.

In other words, the game is best for those who enjoy killing things without any rime or reason.

it’s a remake Spidey: Web of Shadows, but you play as the Hunter from L4D whacked out of goofballs instead of Spider-Man.

Man, my PC had to die at the perfect time.

I’ve been waiting for this game for so long, I would go out and buy it right now if I had something to play it on.

BUt I guess I’ll just have to wait.

I’m having a bitch of a time trying to kill what I think is the final boss. Its that thing that looks like a giant uncircumcised dick and shoots homing green fuzz balls at you (reminded me of half life actually). Anyone have any tips?

Giant condom?

When damaged lure hunters behind a building out of sight of the monster and consume them to regain health. Use Armour mode to get close and, if possible, use a Devastator move when basically underneath it (I recommend the Spike Graveyard one). If you don’t have enough health to do that, get close and start slashing like hell with the SwordArm. Once the 3 tentacles are gone it falls over, at this point beat the shit out of it’s face until it retreats. Rinse and repeat. Isn’t too hard, all it needs is persistence.

collision: I lol’d

Navman: all I did was kill hunters and those fat ganster infected till I had a devestator, and kept chewing away at it. once you break its protective shield then just hack away at the fleshy bit till its ready to start shooting its stuff at you again. repeat the process till it dies. it took me like, half an hour to finally kill it though, so Im sure theres another way.

EDTI: ninja’d

I used the whip arm to hit it at range than the sword arm when it went down.

Finally got it in the end. I went behind some building, consumed hunters till I was in critical mass, then did that blade drop move from the building onto the thing. That took quite a bit of health off. Then I did a devastator at its base. Basically rinse and repeat, like you guys said.

rinse and repeat boss fights suck. I wish games would stop making them. :meh:

Its better then quick time event boss fights.

I know you’ve already done it, but heh. I just tanked it. Tanked it hard. Devastators work too, but I found it a pain in the arse getting constantly knocked away. Tanks seemed to easy(er) alternative :3

I finished it a few days back, so now I’m working through those events again - crying at the fact that some of these platinum times are so bloody difficult :’(

This thread needs more helicopter kicking and less BAWWWW.

The best bosses are the ones that involve a sequence of fights one after the other.

I kinda enjoyed the giant phallic object fight. Okay, I hated it. Worst part of the game.

I used a trainer and godmoded my way through that fight.

Agreed.

it’s a fantastic game, I JUST finished!
