Nearly every review claims using this mouse has greatly improved their accuracy and the only negative reviews are saying this mouse doesn’t live up to it’s pc counter-part. And for all the xbox fanboys, besides the ps3 controller being more uncomfortable, the two are practically identical, so this applies to you too.

Most console users who have never used a pc for serious gaming are incredibly ignorant and baselessly claim the controller is better.
What I like with the mouse is that your hand’s movement translates directly into movement in the game. If you stop moving your hand, you stop moving in the game (by “moving” I mean looking around, obviously).
On a controller, the in-game movement happens in the direction that you hold the controller button, and the speed is controlled by how far you twist the knob. If you tilt the controller button, and stop tilting further, you still keep moving in that direction until you let go. I don’t know if this makes sense, but it annoys the hell out of me so I can only play with a mouse.
I don’t want to claim gamepads are ideal for FPS games, they aren’t, but once you get past the initial difficulties, they are not that bad to be honest.
I dunno, I like playing with a mouse and agree it’s a much more intuitive action, but I’m not a big fan of getting a desk to go in front of my sofa/bean bag/bed

This is a pretty pointless thread. We all already knew the mouse is more accurate then an analog stick.

That’s why it’s disabled by default or removed from the PC versions.
Pretty sure I can disable it on console in most cases, anyway. Some games don’t even have it, I believe.
pc for rts, fps and web browsing. ps3 for driving games, beat em ups and footie games.
and by footie i mean the game played with the roundball… no hand egg dare go near my ps3…

Games play best with whatever controls they were originally designed for; kb+m for shooter, rts, and mmo games, and a controller for everything else. Who would want to play something like Mario or Street Fighter with a keyboard?
This is why I have a PS2 controller hooked up to my PC. I emulate enough console games that keyboard just doesn’t cut it. (ok, well it does for JRPGs but you barely have to control anything in those games) but I still use Keyboard and Mouse for FPS

After a long session of CS:S on PC I would promptly get banned for hacking in every FPS on the ps3 if I had that mouse.
