as u can tell from the title i am having a problem with gmod. i downloaded it and restarted steam and when to play it and i go to hit “start singleplayer game”…and nothing happened. so i try over and over and get fed up and go to all of the other choices and the same thing happened except the options. then i go to the command screen and load the 1st map i saw and plus i saw all of these error messages.https://forums.blackmesasource.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=816&stc=1&d=1278189839…can anyone help me?
Go to the game’s Properties in Steam and verify the game cache files. It seems likely some Lua or Config files are missing.
I should also note that we’d like it if you proofread your messages a bit more; just silently read it to yourself once you’ve finished typing. It’s honestly pretty hard to understand you.

If the verify cache thing doesn’t work, only other thing I can think of it re-install the game. ut I wouldn’t know because I never had a PC cabable of playing GMOD until a few months ago, so I have no knowledge of gmod9…

Yeah, that’s the problem, there aren’t going to be fixes to an old version to a game, just get Gmod10, it’s so much improved and much better as well.
GMOD 9 is a now Unsupported build of Garry’s Mod.
