Potential wars covered in call of Duty games

I have recently started to enjoy the series… Or should I say Call of duty 2 and 5. It has occured to me that call of duty does its best(meaning most interesting story and content wise) when it is bringing new ways of looking at previous conflicts in history. When I looked at information about a Cod ww1 there were very mixed emotions from “boring” to “interesting”. While I personally find that the amazing scripted sequences and bigger that life action will bring out a heavy handed anti war message and speak out against the cruelty of chemical warfare and warfare itself, I wanted to know what you the people thought.
:fffuuu: come what may.

Also if you wish to add any other war ideas for the popular franchise please do. (with an explanation of some sort)

WWI or WW2 game where you play as Germans. Preferably WWI, because nobody knows jack shit about it.

Are there any video games about World War 1 at all?

No, but they’d be pretty cool. 128 vs 128 trench warfare, day long matches. Do it. But then again, your guns would basically be muskets that have a range of 10 yards.

Remember, kids these day learn history from video games. :retard:

I vote for a WW2 game from Germany’s perspective.

That’s like trying to elect an atheist president in the US.

Even if they elect an atheist president, he will have to swear on the Bible.

And WW2 games on the Germany’s perspective exist, they are mostly RTS like like Sudden Strike or Heart of Iron.

World War I FPS

Yup. Many mods are investing in this slot.

i played loads of that american revolution source mod from forever ago

No. This is a terrible and dull idea. Stop it.

NecroVision

They need a Call of Duty game where you play as a sailor on an 18th century warship with cannons and other stuff.

Edit: An example:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_the_Nile

I know many will disagree, but I really enjoyed Battlefield 2142. It was a slight advance on futuristic warfare, but it still kept it gritty and fairly modern, and there were no laser guns. Which was nice.

How about no zombie, magic and shit?

I always thought about Call of Duty : American Revolution is a good Idea, 18th century battles and weapons sounds cool

Why should it even be a CoD game? Jesus, you guys surely both lack in imagination and wish to make that Kotick clown even richer.

They should make a war game set in a steampunk-style alternative universe.

didn’t know you were into fictional warfare :stuck_out_tongue:

At least fictional wars don’t get countless boring hours of TV news coverage.
