Damn, this route gets real dark compared to the other two, definitely my favorite so far (haven’t completed it yet).
Anyway, what’s the best way to learn this game? I can handle CK2 and EU3 just fine. Any good tutorial AARs?

I love the heart in this game. The only two people I killed in the last couple of levels was some random guard (the heart said that he tried to have sex with his cousin but she turned him down, and he sent a group of guardsmen to beat her to death) and this executioner, who the heart said was from generations of inbreeding and pretty much felt nothing after torturing and killing hundreds of people.
The only way this would have been better would be if I had found all the money.
Edit: Okay this is bugging me and I need to ask. I’m using Chrome, and in this thread, whenever I expand an image (it’s probably the same in other threads too) Chrome doesn’t have a horizontal scrollbar so I can’t scroll over to see the rest of the image. Is anyone else having this issue with Chrome?
Yeah, arrow keys don’t work.

No horizontal slider, but I use the middle mouse button click + drag to view the rest of the page

The elevator scene in that game was pretty neat. The really fast ride up the incredibly long elevator shaft was a pretty nice callback to Unreal 1, intentional or not.
Pretty sure it was definitely intentional, what with the whole cutting the lights and all.

I can’t believe how good some of the effects still are though, for a 2003 game it’s pretty impressive. And it has realtime dynamic shadows - even if they are used sparingly, they are soft shadows - before Doom 3 was out.
