Because looking worse than the greatest looking game of all time definitely means that it looks horrid.
the difference is in alot of situations, Crysis may have looked better, but it was…sterile. Crysis 2 definately avoids that.

Modern Warfare 2 and up =/= The whole Call of Duty franchise. Seriously, Call of Duty 1 and 2 are amongst the best FPS ever IMO.
