I’ve played it. I was impressed. The graphics on advanced are already epic, and the best thing: Constantly high fps. I don’t even have a high end PC. (Geforce GTX 260 and a dual core) It’s way better than the first in gameplay and story. Although the story doesn’t belong that much to the first one anymore. But it’s definitely better than part 1 and it still looks very good. I’ve read that the console versions only run with 30 fps, and in scriptsequences it goes down to 15-20.
So why is this called Crysis 2 if its nothing like Crysis 1 ? The only thing both games have in commun is that nanosuit, which is a lot less fun to play with in Crysis 2.
If you want something linear like Crysis 2, go play those retarded COD, Crysis 2 is a failure for those who loved the feeling of being free in the first.

Textures have a much smaller resolution, parallax occlusion mapping is missing and the water looks totally cheap also most of the physics had been removed, only scripted/pre-animated shit in Crysis 2.
No ragdolls, no tree chopping, no destruction… this just sucks for a Crytek game.
It’s also kind of stupid to remove already existing features.
Where did you pull no ragdolls out from? I assume it was your ass.
I was watching a friend playing Crysis 2 and I’ve only seen death animations.
And when I played the C2 MP demo I’ve also never seen any ragdolls.
Well you’re assuming wrong. There are ragdolls aplenty, but they’re cleverly combined with part-animated bullet reactions, like staggering enemies etc.

no street will look or feel the same
every fight and every gunshot will feel different
defeating an enemy will be always followed by a very loud scream of enjoyment after you detonate its ass into oblivion
