Joined. VALVe should have supported Portal 1 with free content, it’s what we have come to expect. (you know if VALVe never did any TF2 updates the L4D2 boycott wouldn’t have happened and everyone would have been happpy)

I too wish that we’d get Episode 3 instead of Portal 2, but I’m still excited for Portal 2. Now that Chell is (presumably) outside the confines of the Aperture Science labs, we’ll get to see some part of the Half-Life saga unfold from a different angle and get new light on things.
…also I’m hoping the portal gun becomes like the gravity gun in HL2 - a useful tool, but not your only weapon. Rockets + unsuspecting enemies + portals = pure awesome.
Too bad Valve doesn’t have anything like the Euphoria Engine from GTAIV.
It’d make Portal Based Combat actually possible.

Interesting thing from GameInformer: Apparently throughout March they’re releasing Portal 2 content for all us avid fans. Probably means the server is going to crash every time a new screenshot appears.
