If you look above where it says Borealis you can that the facility was located in Cleveland, Ohio. (This is one of the images that you see at White Forest Base on the Monitor that show the Borealis in EP2)
First of all: I already said that. Fail.
Second of all: it’s several hundred years in the future, the borealis will be well consumed by then. Either taken by the combine for their own portal research or destroyed by Gordon, or just plain fallen apart due to the expanding and cracking of glacial ice surrounding it. So, it’s highly unlikely that we will see any more than a glimpse of a reference to the Borealis in portal 2.
Alright, I’ll stop making conspiracy theories, but it just seems like something valve would do…
Naw, don’t stop, conspiracy theories are fun. Just be more thorough in claiming originality.
finished portal today again and could not find all radios :’(
but I was surprised by the end, it was totally different
There’s THREE in chamber 18. If that helps at all. I only got 2 the first time around.
I was talking about Half-Life 2 episode 3. If Portal 2 is set in the future…I probably won’t bother to even watch a 5 min youtube video of it.
I’m gonna play it for sure, at least twice.
Just twice?
I’m honestly considering getting a new monitor just to see it in all it’s source-engine glory.
I meant at least twice on the day of release, silly.
I’m sure I can play a few more times the following night as well.
That makes… about seven
That’s more like it!
I hope they release a trailer of Portal 2 right now. Oh well, guess will have to wait for March 11 if they will release something or not.
Isn’t there supposed to be an update on the Game Informer page today.
That was very interesting. Thanks for the history lesson about Portal.
Hoopy the Hoop is now a meme.
Yeah- just to please the Portal development team we will sacrifice two goats to Hoopy the Hoop.
I felt bad after reading that. Poor devs.
Hoopy the Hoop? What?
