The portal effects is what makes it. Best effects for a portal fan-made video so far i’d say. It just got uploaded today apparently. When i watched it, i was thinking, “how come I haven’t seen this before and why so little views?”

Very good fan made film. I think this is the first fan made Portal short film I have ever watched, but I could be mistaken.
I am a little surprised that the video does not have any detailed description (about the director, a homepage, if there is any intention for a followup movie -even though for me it seems clear that this is a standalone fan film).
It was alright. The twist at the end was cool, all the CG and camera work was well done, and the camera was high quality…but there’s not much else to it. Being a short, I understand there’s time constraints and what not, but it still felt lacking. For instance, I would like to know how she worked out where the portal gun was.
…you know, I did note that the director has done a lot of work in commercials. That’s what it felt like to me - a really long, high quality commercial.
Very well done. It was made by Dan Trachtenberg from the Totally Rad show, so that’s why the production value is so good. He’s a semi-legit director.

I think the whole thing was a test engineered by Glados or whoever was in charge. Especially how the cupboard with the portal gun opened by itself and how the ending twist was done.
It’s obviously Glados trollin’ the shit outta the test subjects for entertainment.

EDIT: I just re-watched the Portal: No Escape video again. i’m assuming you are refferring to the “escape from city 17 part two” video that was posted recently on these forums on accident in this thread.
All i saw was a chick well well-developed biceps and sah weet portal effects with cool music, but no romance.

The film was nicely done, the effects were nicely produced, the girl was nicely shaped, all and all not bad for a couple of minutes
And it has a nice theory how Portal 3 will begin 
God, hope valve just let the series die, or at least Chell’s story. It would be so great if Chell just… left Aperture.
Don’t get me wrong, I loved portal and portal 2. I just hope that portal 3 will not continue Chell’s story.
I like the part where she “jump” across the building and does a roll.
…and doesn’t break her legs, considering the lack of boots (or did I simply miss them?).
