Hey guys! The cake is a lie!!! I knew waiting would pay off, just beat it in a sitting today and now all I need are Half-Life 2 episodes 1, 2, and 3 to be released for free to promote Half-Life 3 which I’d buy, and then I can load up the source engine to game again.

He thinks Valve made Portal free so that everyone can play Black Mesa with it. He also suggested that it might be possible to play BM without Steam.

Valve is being smart, now that everyone is playing the original Portal chances are that they will gain a lot of extra customers for Portal 2.
If I didn’t have Orange Box and SDK base on steam, I would just extract my source shared content gcf file into black mesa and then run cracked hl2.exe OB version.
