Never claimed that it did.
I was pointing out that thepoint
of Portal was to test how it would fly with gamers. I actually meant to embold the point
part.

Oh, I guess I misread what you said.
I like the idea of having the portal gun in another game; but I just can’t see it fitting well with HL. It wouldn’t ruin the game but, as stated by others, the atmospheres just aren’t compatible.
So… Valve made a huge mistake in making Portal tie in with Half-Life… Hmmmmmm…
Much like the entire philosophy of Portal, I’m pretty sure Valve is looking for ways to get outside the Box… Yes, I understand the irony as it pertains to the Orange and (former Black Box).
Wasn’t GLaDOS going to be in EP 3? If true, that wouldnt be too far fetched that the portal gin would show up.
Personally, Id rather pay 50 bucks a year for 4 or 5 new campaign with new features, graphics, etc than get 1 major free DLC a year (if that).
So far, Valve hasnt let me down. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt until they do.
The most stupid idea ever, which was proven by a certain mod mentioned ITT.
That’s just moronic speculation.
I really don’t expect to see anything but maybe an Easter egg, like a rusty old portal gun or a turret or something sitting there.
Guys, they did say that Portal takes place in the Half-Life universe… You don’t remember the whole “Black Mesa is Aperture Science’s rival” thing? :retard:
Yes, because that automatically implies that you get the portal gun. Because you get to use everything in the Half-life universe, like the combine sniper rifle and APC.
Crowbar =
Crowbar + Gravgun =
Crowbar + Gravgun + Portalgun = :fffuuu:
What if they ditch the gravgun? Or even the crowbar? :’(
You’re a genius, Zerego.
Give Gordon a chainsaw and a freeze-ray instead.
I wouldn’t mind if they let you use the portal gun only at the end, to beat a “final boss” like you did with the super grav-gun at the end of HL2.
How about a crowbar-saw with the teeth made of magical ice?
i had always thought that this would make some sense out of how the G-Man will appear, and seconds later you investigate the area that you saw him in, and he walked into a room with no exit, with no way to get out. he could be using a type of portal gun.
then again, he’s just some crazy trans-dimensional time wizard so i guess he wouldn’t even need a portal gun to do that.
Super grav gun would suck as the final boss anyway.
OH NOES SUPR GRAV GUN IS ATTAKING ME :fffuuu:
It’s his briefcase! :fffuuu:
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
