Portal Game becomes a REQUIRED class at college

I’m starting to think Portal is becoming Valve’s most sucesful series.

Somewhat. We’ll see who gets further in the greatest villain poll.

I’d like to do that course just for that requirement.
While my classmates are all still struggling with the concept of being able to go through both portals, I’ll be finishing up the boss battle. And then I will laugh. And laugh. And laugh.
Ha ha ho ho.

Well they did say it was a “collective” playthrough, so I assume you would only need one person who would be willing to play while the others watched on the big screen.

Fuck you Beowulf is awsm.

Indeed… probably the professor playing on the projector making fun of the poor students who don’t get to do it :frowning:

I read this sitting in my college’s library. I wish I could use video games more often in college because some of them actually have a point, besides killing people and blowing crap up, although it is uncommon.

I can see discussions about what does GLaDOS mean when she says, “You will be baked and there will be cake?” Is she being literal, metaphoric, sarcastic? What does it mean to be human when you are not free, what does it mean to be free? On and on and on…It’d be ever so interesting to watch people fail at the puzzles too.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
