so i was playing portal 2 and ran into this bug where when i press r in story mode this menu pops up where it has a thumbs up or thumbs down and other stuff and now i cant move or do anything but move the cursor around in this menu any idea what this is 
Donāt press R, I guess. Have you checked the control settings to see what itās actually doing, or is meant to be doing?
i did none of the controls are binded to r

Go on the library => right click on portal 2 ==> click on verify cache

i did that when i go back to the chapter its still there i think its part of the custom test chamber thing
If itās a custom test chamber, then you need to take it up with the author of the test chamber.
R for Rate makes sense to me.
You could also simply try unbinding R with the console command āunbind Rā.
ok the thing is its not a custom chamber its in story mode after you open the big door to old aperture i tried reloading the chapter its still there play all the way up to that chapter still there
I reiterate, since you obviously donāt need to push it, why not try to circumvent by unbinding the key?
i did but i still have the issue when ever i load the chapter is there any way to delete steam cloud saves
ok seems like valve fixed the problem now i can move and continue playing like normal
