IMO, playing the original Crysis won’t really give you a taste for what Crysis 2 is like. They’re extremely different games, and while my firm opinion is that Crysis 2 changed everything for the worse, many people believe it’s a more streamlined, enjoyable experience. Multiplayer in Crysis 2 can be imagined as Call of Duty, but with nanosuit invisibility and armor (which is actually pretty fun, for me anyways).
Point is: if you play Crysis 1 and really love it, you probably won’t enjoy Crysis 2.
If you play Crysis 1 and think its story is poor and its boring and repetitive and the nanosuit modes are overly complicated and useless, you’ll probably enjoy Crysis 2.
EDIT: Oh, and I’m playing Portal 2 right now. Freaking amazing game, definitely recommend it over Crysis 2 any day. Hell, I’d even recommend Black Ops over Crysis 2 (even though I hated Black Ops). But that’s just me.
This guy’s logic is broken. If I don’t like it, YOU won’t either. GG.
I personally really enjoyed Crysis 2. The story by Richard Morgan was quite well written, and had some interesting things to say about transhumanism. It’s certainly worth a rental at least.
This pretty much. I tried sooo hard to like Crysis 2. I really did.
portal 2
I’d get Portal 2, I find it more fun.
Portal 2 is answer! (In my opinion) If you are not a fan of Gun & Run!
Crysis 2 has better Graphic, But “Normal” dialogs.(I am sorry, But what the hell is a dialog like (After crashing of bridge) “Doctor we don’t have time for this.” Who the hell is she!? This seems like ****ing stereotype dialog that every funny R&G have. Or “I am prophet”) “Normal” Gameplay like every AAA R&G game. And not bad level design. Good multiplayer. Good game any way.
But take look to Portal! Amazing. Ultimately nice dialogs. Valve type story. Medium Graphic and Amazing Music, Amazing level design. Unique Game play. Never played before CO-OP. And no multiplayer.
It is your choose. You can select a “UNIQUE AND AMAZING” game. Play it for 15 hour and love it. Or select a “GOOD BUT REPETITIVE” game that you can play for 50 or more hour. Quantity or Quality?!
Are you a poet?
This guy’s reading skills are broken. If I can’t understand posts, YOUR post is wrong. GG.

He is singing the praises of a game we know next to nothing about.
Portal 2
I’m just saying, comparing Crysis 2 and Portal 2 is like comparing apples and oranges. They’re totally different games, and any opinion of which game is better or worse comes solely down to personal taste due to their extremely different play styles, stories, and game mechanics. It’s all subjective, you see.
This
Played both and completed portal 2 in 1 seating. It was short, but a lot of fun. Crysis 2 on the other hand is not fun and I stopped playin after one or two hours out of boredom. Just sayin.
Let me put it like this:
Portal 2: Best Game Ever
Crysis 2: Best Looking Game Ever
I bought and played Portal 2. I was impressed and was very glad I bought the actual case and cd for it. And it’s not a “oh shoot bad gaise with gunz” game. It has PORTALS. and Funnies.
I also played Crysis2. 30 minutes in, I was yawning, “Nice Graphics, but when do i get interested and actaully begin to enjoy the game?”
Portal 2 may not look nicer, but it is deffinately better overall, and in it’s own graphical style, better.
The answer I found was a couple of hours in. The beginning is pretty boring.
