Pimp your...

So… here we go

New amp:

Tasty amp.

I was looking to throw my pedals on a board. Then I noticed those pre-made boards cost more money than I’m willing to spend on it.

Went to the local IKEA, got myself 2 wooden shelves for $6, got some velcro for $5 and threw this together.

Next up: add a piece of wood to the backside to hold the 1-spot adapter and lift the backside up.

Speaking of vox, I picked up a tonelab for super cheap recently

It is sweet.

I always wondered if that sounded nice.

All done \o/

I don’t have anything that’s pimped…

Oh, I have a recurve bow, that’s pretty cool. But I’m waiting on a stringer to use it again.

I should post pictures, maybe, but that’s an awful lot of work…

Needed something mid/low-end to complete my mixing ensemble (who the hell am I kidding; it will never be complete) so I picked up some AKG K-240s.

These are the most comfortable monitors I’ve ever worn.

I have them too. Very nice pair of headphones, cristal clear sound. My only concern is that I can’t crank up the bass as much as I’d like too, but monitors aren’t designed for that in the first place.

I need to get off of my lazy ass and do something musical so I can see what mixing in these bad boys is like. My current go-to cans are really nice, but rough on the ears after a while. I bet I could wear these AKGs for hours.

 all the furniture a man needs

oh do you did get some sapphire in the end?

That thing is bigger than my computer.

That’s what she said.

Anyhoo, bought myself one of these to store my game controllers in the living room:

And yet almost an inch shorter than my previous card…

Today told my mom I wanted to buy a film camera and this is what she came with a couple of hours later:

Minolta X-370 Fully Manual with Aperture Priority Mode and TTL Meter along with Minolta MD F1.7 50mm, Sigma Zoom KII 1:4.5 F70-210mm and Vivitar 1:2.8 F28mm lenses and a flash

Funny how that last word completely purges your sentence of innuendo.

purposeful word placement was purposeful xD
