You’re right. It’s been available since 98SE. When I was in 2K, I never used that feature so I forgot about it.

You can’t fan folders from the Task Bar. You can from the Start Menu, but that’s not what I was talking about. I was saying that to reduce clutter, you can group Apps into folders and then throw them on the Dock and scroll through the fanned items. You can’t do that from the Task Bar in Windows 7. You can only pin the folder to the Windows Explorer item, and then navigate from there. Which kind of defeats the purpose.

I’m so confused. When I tried it on my Windows 7 computer it just pinned it to the jumplist of the Windows Explorer tab. How did you manage that? But yes, that’s pretty much exactly what I was talking about

MAC = no games
Linux = sucky games
Create a folder, place all your shortcuts and folders in that folder. Right click Start bar, New Toolbar, navigate to folder, click Select Folder. Bam!
