PC games you may have not played

Monkey Island is brilliance wrapped in gift paper with a nice bow. Proper fun games they are.

The second one is being re-released as a Special Edition this summer, and seeing as how the SE version of the first was fantastically, lovingly done, I can’t wait. I hope they do a slight update on Curse as well, just to up-res it for modern widescreens and OSs and such.

Do want!

And on that note, I’ll add Sam and Max: Hit the Road.

Painkiller (original one) ftw!

What’s this silly, over-rated, game a few people play called Call of duty: Modern Warfare 2?

Yeah! We’ve translated all five episodes of the new Tales of Monkey Island, from english to spanish, big project, took a while @_@, because telltalegames didn’t release it with spanish subs :\

Anyways, another recommendation : Shadow of the Comet

:awesome: that’ll be bloody awsome.

Lol that would be a Yahtzee recommendation. (don’t worry I went out and got a copy after his glowing review of it) That second (or was it third) boss battle was epic. It’s the first game I can think of where you get to battle an enemy that is the size of a g-damn skyscraper.

Hidden and Dangerous 2, a realistic look at WWII as a SAS soldier, think Commandos with good graphics, 3d, and with more action. A perfect game for anyone who likes squad-based tactical games, it is a perfect mix of stealth and action. The visuals are really good, for 2003. It also has many small, but impressive, details: great blood effects, grass that bends when crawled over, footprints, and the ability to force enemies to surrender. Best of all I purchased this game at Gamestop for around $1, I never heard of it before then, then I played it a little. Now I would gladly pay full price for it.

Recommendation :

Machinarium

A masterpiece, a must play  , I forgot to name it before :stuck_out_tongue:

I also need to play the first two Thief games.

^that

I was never into that genera of game until I have seen it done properly like the first thief.

Love Thief 1&2, the newest one is just ok, not great.

And now they’re making THI4F.
Why do developers think cramming numbers into their titles is clever?

'Cause it kinda is.

I like the old style graphics, i can run them maxed out with no lag. xD

Thief essentially created that genre.

Ever played Metal Gear 2 for the MSX?
THAT is stealth done properly.

No. Metal Gear for the MSX and Castle Wolfenstein for the Commodore 64/Apple II did.
And while I’m at it, Metal Gear Solid, the second 3D stealth game, with the first being Tenchu, was released in Japan two months before Theif. Metal Gear Solid, while it didn’t create it, is rightfully credited for setting the standard for the 3D stealth genre… not Thief.

As you can see, I like stealth games… allot.

Ahh you like to attack from the back, pussy :stuck_out_tongue:
