PLASTIC!
PLASTIC!
Foolish Fool you cannot write on plastic :hmph:
Fuck plastic!
None. They both require resources, which will eventually be gone. If I had to choose for a short term one: PAPER, fuck plastic.
Paper, because they’re eco-friendly and because the resources needed for them are inexhaustible (unlike Shadow’s assumption), because paper companies plant 2 trees for each tree cut. The only thing about paper that has a negative effect on nature, is the companies that participate in illegal deforestation. All the legal companies (read: 90% of the paper companies) actually benefit nature.
The only type of plastic that can come close to the eco-footprint of paper, is cornstarch plastic.
Okay maybe I was wrong. But if it wasn’t for the all the companies that plant 2 trees for every tree cut, it’d be pretty bad. Plus, with plastic more things can be done. I’m still a paper fan though.

[COLOR=‘Red’]YEAH!
Yea I don’t see myself wiping my ass with plastic. :fffuuu:
I tried that once. My ass got caught on fire by doing that.
Australians use plastic money don’t they?
Paper because it BURNS better.
In a dry landfill, paper bags don’t degrade any faster than plastic bags. In a normal, well-run landfill, paper bags do not biodegrade any faster over at least 40 years than plastic.
Plus, plastic is very reusable and resistant to water damage! BITCHES, IT CARRIES MUH FOOD AND WEED!
Paper or plastic? That depends. All the grocery stores around here have paper bags without handles and plastic bags with handles. I use plastic bags because a) I don’t have a car, b) the grocery store is, like, a 10 minute walk from my house, and c) plastic bags are easier to carry while walking.
If the paper bags had handles, I’d use them, but they don’t.
I’ve also tried the reusable bags that had handles and, after three trips, the handles began separating from the bag and the bag itself started getting tears and rips in them.
I use, and then REUSE, plastic bags until they’re no longer usable.
Plastic.
Plastic, it takes up so little room (easily compressible), has built-in handles for groceries, and it’s supposed to be wrinkled. Easily recycled, doesn’t need to be re-pulped, just melted down.
I have a whole drawer full of used plastic bags.
Coming from a Bagger at a Grocery Store:
I actually Prefer to work with Plastic.
The Reason? Paper bags, ya have to Open, and then you gotta Push the bottom flat while plastic bags, you just gotta unstick it open, Place the Groceries in, pull off, and repeat. I also Like plastic bags because they’re easier to hang over my Bicycle handlebars.
On the other hand, paper bags can hold more (weight wise AND Quantity-wise), are a bit more handy when you want to conceal a gift, and act as a better insulator for Temperature-Sensitive products. Paper bags also resist damage more and Stand Up on their own.
TL;DR, They’re both good, but I prefer plastic.
never used paper bags in a grocery store
although when they started making everyone pay 5c per bag I stopped using bags alltogether
Trick question. The correct answer is leather.
