When I use my computer to view online videos it immediately bluescreens upon loading it. Nonetheless I thought this to be a tad bit odd and upon several more attempts I wrote down what was causing it. Every BSOD was linked with this file, atikmpag.sys. I know this is related with the ATI drivers for my G-card but I’m not sure what is causing it because this happened so suddenly (Things were working fine for a while.). My best idea though is that there was a recent update to flashplayer which could be screwing up my computer. I did some searching and it turns out that there are a myriad of other ATI .sys related BSODS and I couldn’t find any solid solutions. Basically I’m out of ideas and I thought maybe someone here could have an answer.
Uninstall you video drivers and install the latest ones. Also update your Flash plug-in.
That’s typically all it is, if you need a tutorial check this out:
Wait your tutorial is a video, what about his situation do you not understand?
That was the joke!
// probably…
Been there done that.
This is for Nvidia but the same logic should apply for you too.

I’ll try Erik’s idea and see of that works, BTW I have already tried uninstalling and updating drivers.
Yeah but DriverSweeper seems to… deep-clean it? IDK but it fixed my issues
It was.
It was so subtle, but by the time I figured it out… it wasn’t funny.
That just means you’re slow.
I’ve tried the driver removal suggested above but that hasn’t worked either, I also have tried using diffrent browsers, updating said browsers and now I am completly out of ideas. I guess there will be some kind of update soon. :’(
Reinstall everything.
Awww shucks man…
You need to downgrade to a flash version that doesn’t use d3d.
how i opengl
If you could give me a link to an older version of flash player plz do so!
p.s. Below version 10.1
you could try an alternative to flash
like java or html5
I remember as a kid, the school computers would often have the bouncing 3D text or maze screen savers, and the text was usually “OpenGL”, and its logo was here and there in the maze, and nobody knew what it was or how to pronounce it.
