ok so i was wondering if someone (if not already) is working on an opposing force source mod. If so how far along? whos making it? is the BMS team going to make it?
the devs have stated that they will not be continuing onto any project such as OP4: source after bM is finished.

Why? Someone else is already doing it, as already mentioned.
I’m not sure but I think at least one of the BMS developers is working on this mod too.
I don’t think that the devs of the Black Mesa mod will be still motivated to work on something in their spare time without getting paid, after “this” mod :hmph:

Yeah, this has been mentioned several times in the FAQ, the answer is always no.
I’m sure they are currently waiting for BM to get released so they can steal their models and materials.

I thought Half Life Decay was really cool, but I can never get anyone to play it with me because we have to do it on LAN or a VPN. The two people who I did get to play with me (one on LAN, one on VPN) both killed the guy in the wheelchair at the end of the first chapter, forcing us to do the entire thing over. And after the first chapter they both got bored and said “lets play more later” and then never wanted to.

Let this be a gentle and kind reminder to everyone that suggesting the BM team take on or participate in either Blue Shift or Opposing Force is not a good idea. This has been covered already in the FAQ - Please Read.
If you want to keep this thread open, I suggest we talk about Opposing Force outside of BM dev involvment. kthnx folks. =)
In the meantime, if anyone can provide to me the several mod makers that ARE involved with both the Opposing Force and Blue Shift remake, please pm me the details and I will update the FAQ.
