Im pretty sure its too late in the development process for the devs to worry about this. I can say with 100 percent certainty they have already thought about this in the 6 years of development they have worked on.

I definately think that half-life needs some kind of bunt function like a lot of games these days. Even if it doesnt cause much damage u could use it to knock back enemies. would definately help with environmental kills too cause you could knock them into various ‘unfortunate’ situations.

Also what about kill moves (Dark Messaih style) or bonuses (like in killing floor with the slow motion) as an optional add on? I was thinking about it and it may cheapen the whole experience or it may possibly make half life more entertaining. The mod for half life 2 that allowed you to slow down time was quite entertaining.
