Newer ways to kill enemies?

I agree, I hope they are not still making changes at this point. I really hope the mod is basically done, they are testing, and we will see the game in may.

Well, the explosives barrels…

There were like… 2 explosive barrels in Half-life 1.

Really? Where? I’m playing through it right now, and I see explosive crates, but must be barrel blind…

Well, they were more octagonal-shaped explosive crates. As close to a barrel as they needed to get back then. :3

2 in We Got Hostiles, at the tripwires were 2 vorts spawn

If you count the crates though, there were lots throughout HL.

aww fuck, i read that comic like 2 years ago, i still laugh my ass of from the jokes i remember alont the way

i once killed a bullsquid in the freezer with a door

does that count?

Throw multitools down onto somebody’s head. Multikill. B)

EDIT: What a shame.

This freezing idea should be implemented. You know, pipes with liquid nitrogen in a research facility - it fits here perfectly.

And if you get hit by the nitrogen you have to move the mouse in a circle to warm up the HEV suit, like Crysis

Surface Tension had a couple of barrels at the start of the road to the dam.

You ought to be able to jump on enemies’ heads to kill them. They need to make it so Gordon Freeman can jump higher but I think it could work.

I honestly have always liked the idea of jumping on NPCs to hurt them, but why would you need to jump higher? You can already jump higher than most humans can IRL. Stomping would work on headcrabs, houndeyes & bullsquids & for anything else you would need to jump off of something.

You can crush a headcrab by standing on it at one point in HL2 if I remember correctly.

Like a Half Life - Super Mario crossover? :fffuuu: I don’t think so…

Ooooh that would be so awesome!
Suggestion: Instead of Nihilanth, at the end, the player should have to defeat a big 3D version of Bowser!

Taht wud rokkk!111

At the end of each chapter Gordon has to jump a flag pole :expressionless:
