Apparently it’s buggy.
Downloading now. Looks pretty interesting.
Pretty hard compared to Portal. It takes quite a deal of thinking to get past Chamber 1.
Got to ch4 and apparently abused flinging so much that the game crashed. I’m not too fond of not having orange portals at my disposal, I still remember hating the beginning of Portal because of that.
Only when playing mods does one realize how fine the line between challenging and frustrating is. Valve has pretty much mastered it. The team behind this mod is not Valve.
i’m liking the factum solus mod, it has great gameplay
At first I was like, what is this I dont even, then I realized I have this mod then I played and beat it. Gameplay’s awesome but a painfully short mod. Unless ep2 is out…
it’s not out yet, but there is a trailer out the guy that makes factum solus says that portal puzzles shouldn’t be hard to solve, just hard to figure out how to solve. so imo, all portal mods should use that
Blue Portals isn’t a “new” mod. It’s been around for ages. It’s interesting, but executed frustratingly poorly
for ages?
it was released on Nov 29, 2010 :hmph:
The first 5 chambers have been available for nearly a year.
I got to the first chamber involving flinging and then stopped. I don’t deserve to be frustrated to that extent.
I thought it was pretty easy.
Although I will say it is pretty buggy, but it makes for some lols sometimes. A few times I had 3 portals activated at the same time lolol
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
