New here

Hey, Im Ryan. New to these forums but still a highly addicted half life player.

I looked around the black mesa source site and couldnt find a release date, all Ive found is 2009.

I probably missed it some where. Can anyone tell me when the projected release of this remake is?

Oh yea, sorry if this is in the wrong part of the forums.

Awesome looking work, cant wait to play!

And one more thing, whats a recommended minimum system requirements to play the new game?

Thanks,

Ryan

The mod will come out in 2009. there is no specific release date. It could come out next week, for all we know.

To play it right, you’ll probably going to want to buy an Orange Box game and see how that works. If you can barely run TF2 or Portal or Ep2, you probably won’t be able to run Black Mesa very well, either.

Welcome Flamarine! Look out for Drityoldbastard!

fix’d.

This is the requirements for Half-Life 2: Episode 2. The system requirements will probably be simmilar to this:

Minimum: 1.7 GHz Processor, 512MB RAM, DirectX® 8 level Graphics Card, Windows® Vista/XP/2000, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection

Recommended: Pentium 4 processor (3.0GHz, or better), 1GB RAM, DirectX® 9 level Graphics Card, Windows® Vista/XP/2000, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection

This post (apart from your overall post history) makes me facepalm and wonder why the fuck you are still here.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
