New graphics card.

Edit: it appears that it’s not possible to replace a laptop graphics card, but I still need tips on how to make my system run games better.

Windows 7 Home Premium. 2009
Manufacturer: Gateway
Model: NV55C
Processor: Intel® Pentium® CPU P6100 @ 2.00GHz 2.00 GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 3.00 GB (2.74 GB usable)
System type: 64-bit Operating System

Nothing. Laptops are not good for gaming.

What arcade said. The parts in your Laptop are made for that specific motherboard. You’d do more harm than good trying to replace parts. Get a new one.

Step 1: Throw away current laptop
Step 2: Buy a desktop

There’s no “R” in my name.

Or buy a nice high-end laptop. I hear ASUS makes some nice ones.

Depending on your laptop, it may be possible to upgrade to more RAM, which would help a little.

I’d check to see if your motherboard can support anything else (which is unlikely) and if you’d be able to upgrade RAM. Otherwise, as Acade said, you’re out of luck and either need a new laptop or get a desktop. The desktop would be way cheaper for the performance, but I know some people would rather have laptops for their own reasons, so you can probably surf around something like Newegg and see what they have.

My mistake… :meh:
