New Eye Shader?

Lol, Please keep this thread on track.

This looks a lot like the City 17: Episode 1 eye shader:

The left eye is the new shader, the right one is the old one.

It isn’t “theirs,” they’re just including it. Honestly, the light reflection is VERY noticeable to me. I say it’s just whether or not the team wants to take another extra step for quality.

Then again, C17:EP1 has included it- and many other “new features.”

The new one certainly looks much clearer, but I have to agree that it does seem a bit to illuminated.

Dammit Coolm4n! I nearly spat my lunch all over the office. > :frowning:

We have it covered…

Ah, ignore me then.

There were at least another four good pages of mindless speculation left in this thread. Now all we’ve got left to do is wonder if by the word “covered” you meant that you’re actually going to cover all the eyes in the game with paper bags.

Well yea, what else did you expect?

Translation:
Whatever we have, its not changing. We may have it, we may not, but what is done is done.

Translation:
Carlos made some changes to the eyes last night.

Not everything is final

Why did I stay away so long? Fucking awesome.

Robin??? PRAISE THE LORD!

Oh shii- you’re back! Welcome back, dude!

oh snap

Hm… moves back to lurking phase

oh shirt it raw_barn! RUN!1

I’m curious, in semi-darkness, would the eyes still shine brighter?

No in darkness the eyes are dark as expected. Also I noticed that in my screenshots the pictures with the new eyes have much more HDR exposure which may account to why everyone thinks they are brighter.

Anyway JamesKane my work with the eyes is finished if you want them just say the word.
