New Animations for Zombies

If you have no brain you’re not in control of your body, so everything would have to be controlled by either electronics, or a headcrab.

Nobody knows where posion or fast headcrabs come from. Even Marc Laidlaw said he doesn’t know, so stop stating your theories as facts.

HL2 should have took the fast zombie pipe climbing animation and gave them the ability to scale ceilings. I would have shat bricks.

Why? They were used almost entirely outside & climbed things that were somewhat feasible like ladders & pipes. Climbing on a flat ceiling would mean they should climb a flat anything. Unless (for some reason) they’re waiting for an ambush, why would they bother with the ceiling anyway when running on a floor would be faster?

How the f would anyone survive with big mouth with sharp teeth in your body??? Host is absolutely dead and headcrab zombie should only be a headcrab with human body. You all want to see l4d style zombies- screaming and running. HL1 zombie is a headcrab controlled human body, not human.

Because the Headcrab is acting like Life Support, it’s keeping the brain alive even though the rest of the vital organs have mostly shut down. Normal Headcrab Zombies are still aware of what’s going on, but all they can do is yell and scream in pain and terror as they have no control over their limbs.

The only sad thing about the zombies , considering how gruesome the death of the victim is, is how comical they can be (especially in half life 2) in many ways, but its all part of the experience aswell.

Headcrab is not keeping brain alive it is controlling the body. Don’t look on hl2. hl2 killed the old feel of the game. And you know why? Only because valve could do it. I want to see less hl2 stuff in BMS. Only headcrab can stay from hl2 and some other stuff that did not chance but only got better. I don’t want to see something changed only because it will look more realistic. I want to see hl1 pushed to a new level.

Uh, Valve made HL1 and HL2.

HL2 is a good FPS and a shitty HL game for me.

But you can’t just say “I don’t like the way valve did this, can we completely ignore it and do something else?”.

We can ignore all that was made in HL2 and make in HL1 style cuz this is HL1 remake.

Valve already did that. It’s called HL: Source.

It’s a shame none of the archives were around from when Black Mesa was back in it’s 1st - 3rd year of development. It would be great to be able to go back and find the first person who ever said that, and actually quote them instead of just constantly repeating this same phrase.

They just ported all to source engine. Thanks to BMS well see a real remake of HL1. Anyways well see everything after release. There are so many opinions. Everyone wants something different. If something will be really annoying me, I’ll change that.

that’s why I preffear the fast zombie in hl2, they seem to be a complete dead body controlled only by the headcrab, nothing about feeling pain and all that crap that the normal one have, just a headcrab with a body. (you will surelly find something I didn’t write well 'cause I am tired and I want to sleep right now and someone will come with a coment saying fix’d or something like that.)

That is 1 of the things I don’t like, hear reversed sounds of pain in the host, what I liked of hl1 is that they didn’t do that and they had their own alien sounds not human reversed ones like GET IT OFF ME, GET IT OFF! <-a reversed sound of a normal zombie pain.

Well it doesn’t matter. The sounds are already done, and they are [COLOR=‘DarkOrange’]juicy.

If you want HL1 Zombie sounds, go to the HL1 or HLS folder, take them from there, put them in the BMS Folder, and rename any that might need it.
