New Animations for Zombies

I’ll do that if i will not like them. I hope there will be less content from HL2. I am glad that sound are remade and aminations too as i see on screenshots… I don’t want to hear human voice calling for help.

Personally, I want the zombies to say something along the lines of ‘Thank You’, etc. when you kill them.

‘Cheers butty for the shooting of me and that, ta ra’ - Expire

If you need new animations for the zombies, then put me on a motion cap suit, give me a bottle of liquor and BAM! you’ll have proper zombie animations in no time.

+1

Yeah! great idea! Or itt could do something like that:

Wake me up about 3-5 hours before I plan on getting up. I’ll give you zombie animations and incoherent mumbling. Only thing is you’ll have to keep me away from walls as I have a tendency to ‘give up’ on balancing myself and just brush alongside them, which would be hard to animate in-game.

I lol’d until i got stomachache.

I agree.

I agree.

I disagree with you on that. They may be natural evolution, but there wouldn’t really be much point in evolving those forms past a few scattered caves or deep-woods ponds where the exact conditions that would require those conditions were met. If the Combine had developed them, however, it would explain why they were not only in the headcrab rockets along with the normal headcrabs in HL2’s Ravenholm–and in such a large supply without a Gonarch present–but also why poison/fast zombies appear in larger quantities in Combine-heavy areas.

I thought the zombie animations in HL1 were superior, excluding the chunky ness.

I agree that the zombies were scarier in the first Half Life, but I think the animations should be a moderate mix of the HL and HL2 anims. Much like what they have now.
