.Net framework 3.5 sp1 problem

i cant instal it!it jsut aborts the instalation!i tried it like 5 times now.can someone help me pls?please!

Try reading the error.

Sounds like you might need .NET Framework 2.0SP1 installed first.

your other .NET frameworks must be up to date. Should work if you run windows update and do them all. As Level mentioned —^

i cant instal Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0SP1 because i have vista.

Start->all programs->Automatic updates
Check for new updates
See all available updates
There should be a check box for 3.5 sp1

I have Vista Ultimate and MS .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 installed just fine.

Couple of things to check for, Vista Ultimate SP1 DVD comes with .NET Framework 3.0, so make sure it is installed first by checking the “Windows Process Activation Service” in “Turn Windows Feature On or Off” in “Programs and Features” in Control Panel.

As I recall, once I had .NET Framework 3.0 up and running. installing .NET Framewotk 3.5 (and then 3.5 SP1) was a snap. Never installed .NET 2.0 SP1 or any older .NET frameworks.

If you have original vista then your windows update should work fine. If not, then you can try and reinstall your system or just contact tech support.

.NET vX always includes all the versions before X, so installing 3.5 gets you 3.x and 2.x and 1.x.
