Need to create a custom autorun CD/DVD menu

Know any software?

I don’t ask for much, just an image, the menu, and music playing in the background…is there any software that could let me do this?

I was looking for a program like that some time ago, but gave up.

First, check the Softpedia, they have a lot of utility programs like these.

Second, you can use Visual Basic, but it requires some programming knowledge. After you learn it however, it gives a lot of freedom. Keep in mind that it requires .NET framework to be installed for any of its applications to work what makes it somewhat unpractical.

Third, you can improvise and make a menu with PowerPoint, but it requires the computer you insert the CD into to have PowerPoint too (or Viewer at least).

EDIT: many of the programs from Softpedia are also created with Visual Basic, so you’ll probably need .NET anyway.

I have a ton of home videos in several formats and wanted to make them into a dvd. Download DVD Flick and have a go at it. They have several template options of creating a menu and title screen like you see with a regular dvd. I LUV THIS PROGGIE!
