Ok, after putting it aside for ages, I finally decided that I needed to root my Evo 4G, problem is, I’m having a problem Rooting the Goddamn thing.
Specifically, when trying to install the Hboot drivers for Unrevoked, I can’t find the “Android 1.0” tab in my device manager afterconnecting my phone in Hboot USB mode.

After rooting you should install Cyanogenmod 7.
