Any volunteers? :3

sounds fun…

I’m in! :stuck_out_tongue:
I always check UniverseToday and Space.com for news. Here’s something intersting:

And this would accomplish what exactly?

How about you go first so there’s one less asshole on Earth.

Putting a person on Mars. For a whole 10 minutes.

building a colony

I hate people who say these sort of things, do you have no interest in the universe you live in at all?

That should’ve been obvious from the bullet points, but it seems some people choose not to read sometimes.
[COLOR=‘Black’]me especially
It’s a good idea in a way, but they need to find the right people for the job. Those that don’t have too much to loose from going to colonise an alien planet and never being able to return to their home planet.

steps forward

Hey everybody, Tiki’s going home!

:frowning:

I volunteer sersoft.

DAT SMILEY

A highly-fictionalized film about the colonists trying to get back by MacGyver-esque/alien means is only a few decades away.

I’ll wait until Mars gets the internet

FUCKING MASS EFFECT. Just wait, it’s only a matter of time before we find Prothean ruins.

On a serious note, what will this accomplish?! We NEED to leave Earth for the crapshoot that is humanity to continue.

It’s only useful if we can sustain ourselves on Mars rather than sending supplies from Earth. I’m thinking something along the lines of throwing plants, herbivores, and carnivores onto the planet which will sustain a livable atmosphere.
What? It worked on Spore :frowning:

My red sand addiction is almost a reality

Just wanna know what I’m signing up for.

inb4 we find a frozen object found around Pluto
