my tf2 drawnings (hand drawed on paper)

hello i just wanted to show something i just started with  . this is my tf2 drawnings:

Heavy (not so good i know):

sniper (my best so far):

doctor:

and spy:

so what you think about my drawnings?

hand drawn, not drawed

they’re good.

don’t lke the spy though.

TERRIBLE

Can’t wait for the Corgi lover to get here and dis the fuck out of fine art.

That’ll be fun.

When you stay underwater for too long, you eventually drow.

They look really good.

my tf2 drawnings (hand drowned in gmod)

spy drawned in grass cuz hes a spy:

Woah guys, those drawnings are pretty good! No need to get ass-y.

sorry if i dont write english as a professional :frowning: but thanks to those that actually gave me some comments of the drawings and not just make fun of others that don’t write everything right. i know i’m not a professional artist but its still fun to show what you have done best

… i must be stupid or something because now i found out that the forum had a spelling fixer :meh: does make it a little more easy to write…

the drawings are okay, I like the posing in the heavy one most
next time you’re drawing pay more attention to anatomy
examples, all of the heads look a bit weird, especially sniper, it looks like the left side of his face got smashed with a shovel, also the heavy’s mouth looks odd
just use a lot of reference photos when drawing, and try starting with a “skeleton”. you draw the posture first, and then draw more into details
there are tutorials for everything and better people at explaining things than me, but you’re onto a good start in drawing

The only reason I think it’s good, is because you’re my fellow brother of Norway

thank you for the comment ^^ yeah i agree, the faces was the hardest on the drawings. it has been a while since i actually drawn something… this was just done fast, wasn’t really looking on the details. once i had a drawing that was VERY good but its gone… was my best ever. feels like i lost my drawing skills up the ages its just weird… :frowning:

When you are drawing something from ref like this, you need to learn to draw what you see. What is happening here is you are drawing what you THINK you are seeing. You look at the ref and go “oh there is a eye here i know those just 2 circles.” What you need to do is grow out of these symbols that you’ve grown with. Try flipping the image you are recreating upside down and drawing it like that, it usually makes it easier to copy the drawing more accurately.

Oh and everyone saying these are good are lying. They look terrible and you need a lot of practice.

I only do that to high-as-fuck-on-their-selves below intermediate fags who think they are above criticism.

but you just did

The sniper one is alright, but the heavy one is just :fffuuu:

no.

I agree though with everything else in that post. Needs moar anatomy/face practice.

They’re um… uhh… well… let’s say my eyes didn’t burn too much, but you still need a lot of practice.

Saying that they’re terrible is retarded.

Obviously, this art quality isn’t on a set scale of gradation and this is a step above a lot of crappy drawings with no shading or sense of perspective. There is quality in these and they don’t look like they were drawn by an idiot. Of course they’re not of high quality or look professional, but saying that they suck because they aren’t isn’t “high standards”, it’s just you having too much of a lazy ass mind to actually abstract its qualities apart.

The anatomy comment is only half-true since you need more consistent structure. It’s also kind of ridiculous since TF2 characters are extremely stylized and do not have realistic anatomy.
