BF3’s campaign couldn’t disappoint my low expectations for it. If anything I was pretty impressed by the story. Surprisingly unpatriotic.
Frostbite 2 + BF 2142 + 1942 + Vietnam:Redux = Ultimate Remake package, I’d pay $100 each if I had to.
Also, I hope BF3 goes the way BF2 went with the expansions like Special forces that had new maps made for the new weapons, gadgets, and equipment. I would also like to see a snow map.
The story was actually very good, I liked it. It was realistic with a few drops of action to make it feel like a movie. Although the jet part was very awesome and sexy it wasn’t required.

BF3 patched, now complete with caspian radio tower falling, and crushing people and vehicles in multiplayer games.
Is it in Conquest or only Rush?
Edit: But it’s a script though. It happens at the same time in every game as far as I’m aware. That’s boring. And it seems that right when it starts to fall you like fall through it if you’re standing on it.

im pretty sure its all, i know it fell last night on me in conquest every time the ticket count hit about 15.
there was a bunch of recon richards standard on the tower as it was about to fall so i stoppe dand watched. they didnt die. they just hit the bail train.
I wouldn’t expect it to be patriotic considering the developers at DICE are Swiss, and EA started in Canada.

holy fuck. I think someone did that in 1942 as well. The only thing I’ve ever done like that is shoot down a jet in BF2 with an anti-tank rocket, but that was because it was trying to strafe me.
Yeah I’ve seen people do it in both BF1942 and BF2. So now you can do it in BF3

As far as I can tell, while when the Caspian tower falls is scripted, the actual falling isn’t. It doesn’t look like it falls the same way every time.
Yeah, i noticed that. Plus, it seems it falls in different directions. The first time i saw it i was disappointed because it fell far away from any control point but the second time i was standing on a building at A and it fell right next to me.
In any case, it’s certainly an impressive scripted event.
Agreed. Normally scripted events don’t impress me - but a scripted destruction event that can crush jets, helis, and any ground unit in its path is awesome.
