this issue started after i installed the game onto windows 7, i never had this issue on windows Vista. I’ve installed the latest drivers for my GTX 285 2GB, getting an answer from IW next to impossible. hope you guys can help.
It’s the AO effect.
Fix: right click desktop->NVIDIA Control Panel->Manage 3D Settings->Program Settings (Tab)->Look for “Call of Duty 6: Modern Warfare 2 (iw4sp.exe)” set feature “Ambient Occlusion” to “Off”. Do the same for “Call of Duty 6: Modern Warfare 2 (iw4mp.exe)”. That will fix it.
weird, i wonder how why the drivers have that automatically set on. i usually do a sweep before i play a game. when it was on Vista it was automatically set tot off.
