Why would you buy singles?
I don’t get why people like plastic beach
It sounds nothing like gorillaz
I’d like to point out to everyone that everything that has been suggested so far pales in comparison to the likes of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Tchaikovsky and other good classical composers.
The difference between modern day artists and classical composers is that classical composers were paid to make sure their music sounds good. These days, maybe you can have a few good songs on an album and the rest is filler. There is still good music, but it is hard to find.
Because (ironically), there’s more than one song on a single. This one features Kids With Guns and Stop The Dams. The later not being on Demon Days makes this single “buyable” IMO.
Yeah, well, you know, that’s just, like, your opinion, man.
Awww shit, you got me.
pop =/= all music
also why are so many classic listeners so elitist
Mr. Scruff is pretty good.
They’re bound to make a compilation of B-Sides though, if they haven’t already.
Alright, alright, you got me. They already have. It’s the D-Sides album. I bought it because it was five bucks with free shipping.
good y/n?
Best nirvana albom
thats not saying much but
quite the contrary, for Nirvana was one of the best bands of the 90’s
yeah, since music is objective
Among the best bands of the 90s, still not saying much. I have a saying that fits perfectly here:
The music in the eighties was so bad it took the nineties to get over it.
funny how those decades of bad music are different for everyone
A bit late, but please define how Gorillaz sounds. IMO they’ve always went in every possible directions in terms of sound. From dub to dance to rock to hip-hop, they go pretty much everywhere.
plastic beach is missing that gorillaz sound
whatever direction they went you could still tell its gorillaz by it
i can’t describe it
Thus making your argument invalid. Seriously though, since all of their albums are different, you can’t really say that Plastic Beach is different from Demon Days, since Demon Days is very different from their self-titled. Well, I agree that 2-D’s voice and Murdoc’s bass aren’t as present as they were in the last two albums, but IMO it’s not enough to say they’ve completely changed.
Oh let me take another listen then
oops still doesn’t sound like gorillaz to me
Like that wasn’t a generalization. I didn’t say all of today’s music was bad, you just have to do a lot of searching to find the good stuff.
This was true even in Mozart’s time, he wasn’t very popular. Great artists only become well known many years after they die.
