Mouse and keyboard vs gamepads? How about this...

A mouse that’s also a gamepad!

Take that you elitist snobs!

That’s a cool idea although if the analogs are anything like that of the psp (at least that’s what they look like) then it probably sucks.

it’s also a remote

My hands ache looking at it :frowning:

Best of both worlds, nice idea

i wonder how it feels in the hands when you use it as a gamepad?

The design is based on the Logitech MX518, which is the mouse I have, so I can have some sort of an idea how it would feel like and well, it was designed to be a mouse, not a gamepad, so it may feel a bit awkward to hold in that manner for long periods of gameplay.

i also see the extra buttons are on the right pinky side :fffuuu:

I think it would suck. You’d be pressing the mouse buttons and crap as you’re trying to play it with the controller. Just the clicking and feeling it alone would be bugging the hell outta me.

Jeezus bo beesus why don’t they just make a keyboard with pressure sensitive keys and rumble lol

Why not just use a mouse and keyboard and be done with it?

Because, believe it or not, even some PC games are good to be played with a gamepad.

Looks terrible and uncomfortable. Why not just buy a gamepad (PS3 or Xbox 360 whatever you choose) and plug that into your USB drive and call it a day. Save the Keyboard and mouse for FPS’s and RTS’s and use the gamepad with games like Splinter Cell, Assassin’s Creed and any racing game???

You won’t actually, the lock into place when doing something with the scroll button.

edit: in response to bobbo

I tried playing games with a PS3 controller in my left hand and my mouse in the right hand and it actually works, but apart from that, keyboard+mouse> everything except irl.

It’s easily arguable that a controller is better for most third person games and all racing games, does anyone disagree?

Other than that though, the mouse and keyboard setup trumps all.

i think prefer controls just cuz its more social. at least less awkwardly anti social

Thanks but I think I still prefer my elitist ways.

ahh… just re-read it… didnt catch it the first time.
