Most frustratingly difficult games ever?

What difficulty? I didn’t have any trouble on normal. Veteran was pretty tough but I’m pretty sure I beat it. Not gonna touch Elite again though, that’s just insane.

I think if I had to choose, I’d say the toughest game I’ve played is a game for PC/PS1 called Slamscape. It was an MTV game that featured the music of the band God Lives Underwater, so I wasn’t expecting much out of it, but that game is ridiculous. As a kid I could never finish the second level, and when I replayed as a young adult, I hardly did any better. Although I could beat the second level with a ton of effort, the third level just completely baffled me.

I’m surprised that I didn’t break my controller playing Splosion Man. That game was hard. I’m completely passing up on the sequel because I don’t want to put myself through that shit again.

GRAW is pretty tough on it’s hardest difficulty, as are the Operation Flashpoint games where you can die in 1 hit.

It’s either Riven or Myst IV: Revelations.

I had to cheat my way through WAY too much of Riven, but there were puzzles in Revelations that were just impossible to pull off even if you knew the solution.

Get mouse dpi setting in the game to lowest, windows mouse sensitivity to highest, and get a 4000 dpi mouse = bash everything so hard that you will most likely die due to bashing into things.

Stalker Soc on Master difficulty. That thing is a NIGHTMARE. I just quit in 15 minutes because I kept dying by this stupid dogs randomly appearing and killing me uber quickly.

I beat Myst IV. I felt rather accomplished.

But you must admit, they were fun, eh? I almost dont want to buy Myst V because it looks like they fucked it up so much.
