Mods other than HL's

I know there’s already some other mod threads, but this thread are about the good mods that are NOT FOR HALF LIFE.
There’s other games out there that have good mods such as:

Shockwave (C&C Generals:Zero Hour)
https://www.moddb.com/mods/cc-shockwave

Eastern Front (Company of Heroes)
https://www.moddb.com/mods/coheastern-front

Europa Barbarorum (Rome Total War) (best mod ever!)
https://www.europabarbarorum.com/

Lord of The Rings Total War (Rome Total War)

Napoleonic Era (Age of Empires 3)
https://www.moddb.com/mods/napoleonic-era

Project Reality (Battlefield 2) (best mod ever no.2)
https://www.moddb.com/mods/project-reality

Forgotten Hope 2 (Battlefield 2)
https://www.moddb.com/mods/forgotten-hope-2

Battlegroup 42 (Battlefield 1942)
https://www.moddb.com/mods/battlegroup42

SWBF Conversion Pack (Star Wars Battlefront 2)
https://www.moddb.com/mods/star-wars-battlefront-conversion-pack

to bad I own none of those games :frowning:

Never even heard of any of them, apart from Lord of the Rings.

Any of the ‘complete’ mods, for the Stalker games.

I’ve got to go get C&C Generals again, back in the day I thought it was the downfall of the C&C franchise, but now I’m starting to remember it quit fondly. Playing Starcraft 2 has made me really miss the days of Command and Conquer and Age of Empires and such, real RTS games, Starcraft isn’t RTS, it’s an FPS with multiple units, it’s an MPS

What about good HL mods, anyone got any?

You’ve never heard of project reality?

Jesus christ.

The Trap is a very good HL1 mod by Reaktor, check it out on moddb.
(not advertising, as Reaktor doesn’t make mods anymore)

I like how a thread that was specifically not about half life mods quickly became a thread about half life mods.

The Undead Mod (ArmA 2): https://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=94013
1-take l4d2
2-add realism
3-…
4-Profit!

Well there’s Duke Nukem 3D: Reloaded.

I suppose you’re not being serious, with 800+ posts you must know there are atleast 3 threads in which people discuss HL mods

I know a great self-made mod (total conversion) for a game called real life.
There’s no need to download anything, no specific requirements, just follow these simple install steps:

-Open the window. The higher the floor, the better
-Grab your 1337 gaming rig
-Throw it out the window

Removes annoying bugs and adds a lot of great things like vast open environments and non-linearity, thus improving the experience 3000%.
No virus 100%. Satisfaction guaranteed.

P.S. There’s a second install path if arm strength requirements are too high for you.

-Shut down your 1337 gaming rig
-Switch voltage from 220 to 110 (or vice versa, depending on what you currently have) on the back of your rig’s power supply box.
-Press power button on your 1337 gaming rig

Along with features listed above, this method has a one-time mod intro bonus featuring a bright flash, a loud bang and a funky smell of stuff burning in your nose, pumping your adrenaline levels up to impressive levels. Effect has an added +5 boost if you are a pyromaniac like me. Awesome.

It’s got too much shit that breaks the game though.

Breaks it? It fixes it.
I added an alternative install package with cosmetic changes.

Disclaimer: it would not work as perfectly with computers that do not classify as a 1337 gaming rig.

Nah, was just hoping to throw this thread in that direction, thanks for blowing my cover!

“Time Gate” was my favourite Wolfenstein SP mod

Does it have free source code and mapping tools? :retard:

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
