BTW I’m pretty sure the LHC is what they are using to code BM. The second it’s finished the LHC will have no further purpose and will, ultimately, open the portal to Xen

As to the people requesting “launch trailers” and “pre-launch hype”, surely the site & this forum is doing all that already… I mean jesus, just read some of these posts, seems to me that any more hype would probably result in deaths (though in many cases that wouldn’t be a loss!).

I’d personally be inclined to post a link to the download of the mod, saying “here you are, bitches” and have done with it. Either that or ruin everyone’s New Year’s Eve with a “yeah, we admit it, the mod really is dead… we’ve all be smoking cheap women and getting feisty with cheap drugs for the last year… sux2bu” type post (irregardless of whether it’s true or not… hell, I’d laugh!).

I can’t believe it, but there’s valid speculation hidden in there. If they weren’t going to make 2009, they would have had to tell us. I mean, waiting until December to let everyone know it’s delayed would be much worse than any hype could ever be. Can you imagine the huge letdown this would be? Therefore the mod will make 2009!

(Alternative: remaining quiet the team isn’t realizing how badly pigs will fly if 2010 starts without BM: S).
