Code Warrior is sadly correct.
The game will not be released by these cock donkeys until Spring 2010.

Where the hell do I start?
Firstly, how long do you think this mod’s been in development for? I can tell you it’s been around for about two years longer than me (and I’ve been around here for 4 years or so now).
Secondly, ALL developers give out estimated delivery dates all the time, from teams like this one, right up to people like Valve & Microsoft. It’s called promotion. Get over it.
Thirdly, how do you breathe and walk at the same time? :meh:
[edit]Also
WHAT THE HELL IS A COCK DONKEY?! sounds fun, where can I get one?
That’s September next year! :’(
Looks like you need some knowledge.
Spring is January, February, March, April. The season of Spring is different months depending on where you live. But Spring is always the first four months of the year.
Obviously he lives in the Southern Hemisphere!
BTW Spring DOES change, depending on what hemisphere you are in. There is no difference between Spring and the season of Spring
Oh, okay then… carry on.
I quoted it.
I see it more as people trying to force a 2009 release to be the truth. I’ve been around for a lot of mod and game releases, and I’ve been a developer as well. So trust me when I say that you don’t make platinum out of copper in a month.
The length of time it’s been in development should be another clue that if that game isn’t great now, it’s not going to become ‘awesome’ in a month. It takes time.
Yes dates are necessary, but it’s also necessary to adjust them when it’s clear that they won’t be made. Developers who don’t do that usually end up pissing of the community when it doesn’t happen. If you don’t believe me, check back on Jan. 1st
I’m not trying to hurt anyone’s feelings… But I’ve been through so many mod releases where a date that seemed accurate months ago is announced, people take it as gold, and then they get pissed off when it (always) takes longer and the devs never changed the release date until it passed. Learn to read between the lines!
The thing is though this mod’s developers have never made a specific release date just for that reason, until now. :^/
No one is trying to force it to be the truth. Let me show you something on the front page of this website:
It is the truth.
Well, was the truth. They obviously won’t stand by their commitment and release in December. Instead they are going to screw over loyal fans and not release until Spring, possibly Summer, of 2010.
Committed means they are working their butts off and doing everything in their power to finish it, it does not guarantee a 2009 release date. There may be things outside of their control which prevent them from doing so, but they will release when the mod is at a good enough level for play.
Dude, just because he said
doesn’t mean that the current state of the game is “crappy”. Now, it could be by all means, but I highly doubt that it is, or else the devs would do as they said and announce that they didn’t think they could make the 2009 release date. Which could still happen. Just sayin, doesn’t seem that way from my perspective.
In the end if this game isn’t released this December the mod will lose 90% of it’s following and the company will fail.
I doubt that people will stop following the mod just cause its not released in December and that company you are talking about is a group of volunteers who are making $0 profit.
Wow. I laughed for over 2 minutes at this.
Northern Hemisphere:
March, April, May
Southern Hemisphere:
September, October, November
Spring is not the first 4 months
A season MUST ALWAYS (regardless of temperature circumstances) consist of 3 months.
Looks like you do.
There is absolutely no reason as to why the mod would lose its following if it’s not released in 2009. People come and go here all the time, regardless of what’s going on. The majority of people who are familiar with the mod aren’t here every single day to read the forums, and probably don’t even remember the 2009 release date, or at least are intelligent enough to take it with a grain of salt (a lot of people doubt it will ever be finished after all of these delays, and I don’t necessarily blame them).
So, chill the fuck out and just wait for the game, delaying it is not going to spell the end of the world. Unless the world does end before the mod is released, in which case, tough luck, there are bigger things to be worrying about.
Actually, there are reasons why people will leave and forget about this mod.
People don’t like to be strung along by false promises. The likes of which have been made around here multiple times. The 2009 release date is the latest.
Why would people pay attention to something that isn’t coming out? They made a commitment to 2009 and they will break it. Who wants to support someone who continuously breaks commitments?
more people than you’d think
i think hl3 will be out when this mod comes out, and no i dont meen epi3
BLASPHEMY!!!
Oh loard, how’d I let myself do that? >.<
But yeah, my point still stands, I think. >.>
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
