Hello everyone, first post here but I have been reading this forum for quite some time now. All I can say is, I’m 39 with an 8 year old son and neither one of us can hardly wait for this mod to come out.
He asks me every day if I have downloaded it for him yet. He’s so funny
He likes to play HL1 and I’m more into the HL2 series
Any way this mod looks great and we can hardly wait to play it.
Im sorry, your Son is 8 Years Old and he playes the Half Life Series, how is he doing with Dead Space or Doom 3, do you let him play Grand Theft Auto 4

I may have gone a little over the top exampling those Games, but you are still beating someone with a crowbar and nonestop shooting a guy and see blood splatter everywhere, theres a reason why Movies and Games got age restrictions, so we wouldent teach our childrent to curse the hell out of it or teach them to butcher their dog.

You may or may not be using the exact day the mod started. I’m using the year “2004” as that is what the site says. Now, assuming a release date of December 31st 2009:
(a / b) x 100 = y
A very simple equation, really. Wasn’t meant to “wow” anyone. Let a equal the starting point of the mod (2004), let b equal days the duration of development up to this point, and let y obviously equal the percentage of the mod (assumed) to be completed.
(2004 / 2008.304) x 100 = 99.7856898
Therefore, the mod should be ~99.79% done…
Don’t see this as definite, or even serious. It’s the “FAILZ 2 COMPOOT,” guy that made me do this.
There were four posts between yours and mine.
With numbers as large as 2004 and 2008, .304 doesn’t change much, so it might as well just be 2008.
That leaves 2004 / 2008 x 100, which is basically the percentage of the amount of years passed until 2004 relative to the amount of years passed until 2008, which has nothing to do with the mod.
Do you see the lack of logic?

I wonder if that’s been made a rule of the Internets yet. All things considered, I’m sure they will release the mod within the next two months, that’s all I’m hoping for.
