There are good intentions, and it’s cool that they’re using lots of old cut creatures…
But I wish they were all executed a bit better. From the high res-but-fuzzy textures, to the lumpy and under detailed high res models resulting in underwhelming normal maps, I can’t say the mod is a ping on my radar atm. Large textures are wasted on simple two color textures with a noise filter on them, and the normals look like they were extracted from an incomplete first pass of a high res model.
The mapping and gameplay is on point, but their presentation (and the behavior of the devs towards criticism) keeps me from being able to take it seriously.
