Dammit I meant Minecraft!
I’d like a mod similar to Research and Development, all puzzle-solving or introducing a new mechanic for each level.
^Portal 2
No, see, a game like Portal has a primary mechanic, or tool. R&D didn’t, really. You get the gravity gun and can use that after you find it, but until then each room has some fresh idea to work with. Not to call portals “repetitive”, but it’s using the same game mechanic in every level. That’s just not what I meant.
I was joking; I’m not sure if Jerry was, or if he’s just stupid.
FUCK OFF.
Wait… maybe.
Yeah, i was … joking.
Anyways, a mod for Mirrors Edge that does not include fightning or weapons. I really hated them in mirrors edge.
Don’t worry. In time your expectations will drop significantly. I’l post a little idea I had to make you feel a little better.
A 3-4 hour long clue-like game where you have to investigate several seemingly unrelated major crimes. In which the characters, motives, locations & such are procedurally generated in a random-story-generator sort of way so that each game would be mostly different. The player should use basic forensic tools to get as much evidence as possible, as well as small notebook to reference what characters have said & what evidence they have. The player should also be able to ask npcs basic who/what/where/when/why/how questions, as well as inform them of your evidence & what other npcs have said. Both the player & the npcs should be capable of lying to throw one another off. This could be mixed-up with a little bit of simplistic beat-'em-up or stealth if the gameplay seems a bit too stale or poorly paced on it’s own.
^Fahrenheit aka Indigo Prophecy
A game in which you play as a tank and you have a shitload of cool weapons like lazers, rockets and shit.
Congratulations, you actually tricked me for a moment until I actually bothered to look it up. Try actually reading my post you prick.
^Barbie: Horse Adventures
You bowl continuously for about 40 hours.
It’s a story of a girl
A girl and her horse
Plus all the adventures they take
It’s a first person shooter
We’ll give her big hooters
It’s kinda like Barbie meets Quake
Yeah, it’s kinda like Barbie meets Quake

The Next Big Thing
:retard:
So it’s more like Fallout 3?
Not at all.
If any of you haven’t tried Indigo Prophecy then you suck and are a big coward.
Fahrenheit is the best cinematic game. It makes you feel like you are inside a movie. The story is amazing. There are lots of ways to finish the game and there are 3 endings IIRC.
And as a random fact, this is made by the same guys who created Heavy Rain for PS3 and the gameplay is very similar to it.
I just watched the first part of a walkthrough of Fahrenheit, & it basically starts out with showing you a murder & you can plainly see who did it. Right off the bat, this shows that it’s not like what I was talking about, because the player is supposed to use logic to deduce what happened without having seen it. Magic & simplifying things down to 4 context-sensitive commands pretty much ruins that.
I’m guessing you’ve never even fucking heard of Clue or ‘Cluedo’ before.
Wow, I can’t argue with that perfectly rational argument & flawless reasoning. :retard:
And the animations are just as horribly robotic & lifeless! But do you spend just as much time doing tedious chores like putting on your clothes or taking a shower?
The game is not about only that murder. This is one of the many murders that took place. And there is a weird thing. All the victims have been stabbed 3 times, each time hitting one vital artery. You also play as several other characters, including detectives. At one point in a game you have to make a virtual robot of the murderer (you). I’ve finished it 2 times and now that I remembered about it I will play it the third time.
But yea, I can’t argue with one’s likes but I strongly advice you to play the game.
I promise that you won’t regret it.
I’d rather not. Nothing I’ve read or seen about it strikes me the least bit interesting & seeing as how I barely know you, your promise is quite shallow.
