The thing being, of course, that no one is advocating taking away our right to bear arms in the course of being members of a well-regulated militia to protect the national security of the country. :3
actually i am
Yeah, but you’re no one.
How did this thread turn into a gun rights thread?
I think this is where it started.
Gabe also lives in a nice house, in which to put all those guns in.
My wall is literally covered in decorative tanks. I’ve got at least two M1’s up there in mint condition. I can only imagine what Gabe must have, probably battleships and stuff.
Also, I’m sad to not hear any news of this impacting Valve in the slightest.
He got battletoads.
While we do have licenses to own a gun, it’s prohibited to actually use them outside of the hunting grounds and shooting ranch. Additionally, people that own firearms have to keep the gun in one locked cabinet, and the bullets in another locked cabinet, at least xx meters apart from each other. When transporting the firearm (to the shooting ranch, for example), the gun has to be in a locked case, with the bullets in a different locked case. All in all, we have the right to own firearms, but not the right to bear them. The crime rate in Belgium is way lower than in the States, and sits around the middle of the crime rate rankings of Europe.
On the other hand, in Switzerland, adults who have served in the Swiss armed forces (amongst others) are allowed to bear arms. Switzerland has some of the lowest crime rate numbers in the world.
In the end I doubt the right to bear arms has anything to do with crime. I for one would rather give my wallet to a crazed gunman than pull out a gun of my own.
All we need to add is the right to pig nose (don’t ask) and the second amendment is a manbearpig.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!
are we done yet with the off topicness? how bout I make it so.
